Dii Desert Industrial Initiative Conference. Nov 6-7 2025, Dubai

Background: On behalf of LehmanBush HK Limited, I had the opportunity to join the 15th DII Desert Energy Leadership Summit in Dubai last week.

The first day of the conference was opened by Paul van Son, as President of Dii Desert Energy, who also serves as Chairman of Kaspa Industrial Initiative KII.

The conference was co-organized by the Government of the United Arab Emirates. During the second day of Agenda H.E. Eng. Sharif Salim Al-Olama open the ceremony. He serves as the Undersecretary of Energy and Petroleum Affairs of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE.

The core subjects of the two-day conference analyzed the importance of resilience, sustainability, energy trading and energy efficiency in the Region. Including the high demand of energy generation and energy trading infrastructure in the context of the development of existing systems and the current AI and infrastructure necessity for data center to match market demands.

During the second day Rory O’Neill board member of Kaspa Industrial Initiative KII and Member of Dii Advisory Board & Director presented a keynote on “Kaspa’s BlockDAG Technology: Solving the Blockchain Trilemma”. The main takeaway of this presentation was precisely brief to the audience on the existing infrastructure and the benefits for using Kaspa as a carrier and settlement layer for energy trading and real utility in the Energy sector for Dii stakeholders in a global context.

In the table below I have listed some relevant corporations that partook the event. These industrial leaders represent Trillions in combined market value and play central roles in global energy, hydrogen, infrastructure, and industrial transformation.

Comment on Installed Capacity and Kaspa’s Potential: The companies at the DII Summit collectively account for hundreds of gigawatts of global energy infrastructure. This includes everything from nuclear, gas, wind, and solar capacities managed by giants like Siemens, EDF, GE Vernova, and Jinko Solar. In total, their footprint easily surpasses 700 gigawatts of installed energy capacity worldwide.

Conversations around ZETA, GIGAWAT Coin and ZET-EX represents a settlement tool to exchange energy instruments permissionless. If even a fraction of that energy infrastructure’s trade flows were settled using Kaspa’s digital infrastructure as a carrier, it would represent a groundbreaking integration of decentralized finance into the global energy market, adding unprecedented speed and transparency to energy settlement and trade.

At the events dinner hosted by Siemens, I shared the table with Charles and Rory from KII, next to me was the Vicepresident of structure finance at SMBC Middle Eeast, a major Japanese Bank and we shared directly insights about Kaspa infrastructure and the feedback was positive.

Reflections: The Dii Desert Energy Leadership Summit brings together the world’s most established and influential energy and industrial companies.

Not every day an Undersecretary of the UAE opens a conference. If you take a look at the protocol, where he is sitting during the event (same table as Paul van Son) and for the Dii members picture he is placed in the center next to no other than Paul.

Kaspa currency, represented by the Kaspa Industrial Initiative (KII), presented alongside these global heavyweights, is definitely a strategic milestone that signals strong institutional positioning for real‑world energy, digital infrastructure, AI‑powered systems, and hydrogen value‑chain opportunities.

Now, it’s worth noting that both Rory and Paul carry sterling reputations in a sector dominated by just a handful of serious global players.

This alignment with Fortune‑500 level industrial actors demonstrates the increasing relevance of decentralized, high‑throughput digital settlement technologies in the next generation of clean‑energy markets.

Reflections for the normal crypto bro out there: Take the largest BTC holder for a second. MicroStrategy is a company that does not sell a product or at least had declining revenue before start purchasing BTC (We are talking about a company that not generated considerable cashflows on a real product or service at least not for what is trade now). MSTR became relevant only by purchasing BTC and building now financial products around it.

Now, take two steps backward and consider companies that have been in existence for over a century and are established industrial giants in the Energy field. This is why Dii is considered to be the “network of networks”.

These presentations were delivered to top executives and decision makers of this industries. The initiatives presented by KII are part of their current piloting and project developments that are build for their stakeholders with a clear market fit. 

Kaspa was not mentioned in the context of cryptocurrency. It was presented as infrastructure tool for delivering a solution to this industrial sector.

For me was a privilege to join. Also, worth mentioning that we discussed with Rory and Paul and they are willing to cooperate with LehmanBush in our upcoming endeavor for incorporating a 3C licensed fund manager company in the UAE for managing a Kaspa Qualified Investment Fund QIF before the ADMG.

Further steps: Currently, I am dealing the incorporation process of LehmanBush Capital in the UAE. LehmanBush the firm I represent for the Baltics and Latam, is an investment advisory firm based in Hong Kong, founded by Dr. Edward Lehman American attorney living in China for over three decades and Neil Bush brother and son of former US Presidents.

LehmanBush Capital in the UAE will be a licensed fund manager at ADGM in Abh Dhabi. Under our fund manager I am in charge of an energy portfolio which comprise traditional private equity in the Baltic countries, and our Kaspa Qualified Investment Fund. We have retained legal services for this matter in Abu Dhabi, and we are currently filling the documentation for the In-Principle-Approval IPA; after which the legal vehicles will be incorporated by Q1 2026.

We are discussing with various stakeholders, not only for joining as limited partners or anchor investor but also to be part of our board and management. In this sense, we have discussed with both KII and KEF for bringing together support in our board, and we are considering also incorporating an advisor in the future coming from the community as an expert to discuss governance matters.

I’m convinced Kaspa is a powerhouse of innovation, research, and revolutionary tech that will impact the world. But when this tech meets industrial players who’ve spent centuries building the backbone of global infrastructure… that’s when the impact becomes exponential.

Kaspa Side Event Recap – France’s First Kaspa Meetup at Le Hive, Cannes 🇫🇷

As ETHcc brought global Web3 builders to the shores of Cannes, we had the honor to host the very first Kaspa side event in France, held in the vibrant cypherpunk setting of Le Hive Bar.

The energy was real—an eclectic mix of developers, founders, investors, and curious minds gathered for an intimate and authentic experience. The atmosphere was relaxed, the discussions deep, and the vision shared loud and clear: Kaspa is building the infrastructure of tomorrow.

Crypto’XR 2025: A Breakthrough Event for Kaspa France

Presence & Organization
Crypto’XR 2025 was a milestone event for the Kaspa France team, marking a significant step forward in our efforts to expand Kaspa’s visibility and adoption in the crypto ecosystem. Our stand was strategically placed in the “Mining” space, reinforcing Kaspa’s strong Proof-of-Work (PoW) identity. Positioned near Blobb.io, this location naturally attracted miners and blockchain enthusiasts, sparking insightful discussions on the future of mining and Kaspa’s place in it.
The Kaspa France delegation consisted of four dedicated ambassadors, along with Eliott Mea, JC, and Mourad. Throughout the two-day event, we engaged with approximately 500 attendees, experiencing an uninterrupted flow of visitors. Every interaction further refined our ability to present Kaspa compellingly, fostering greater enthusiasm within our team.

One of the key highlights was our exchange with “For Mining Space,” where we explored potential collaborations in the mining sector. These discussions reinforced the growing recognition of Kaspa as a serious player in the blockchain space.

Visibility & Content
Our presence at Crypto’XR was amplified by engaging content and interactive sessions:
Live Stream: A dynamic session featuring Marwane & JC, attracting around 70 live viewers on YouTube. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many appreciating our insights into Kaspa’s unique architecture.

Workshop on Stage: One of the defining moments of the event was the workshop co-hosted by Eliott Mea, who had previously conducted his final internship under Yonatan Sompolinsky. The session delved into the robustness of Kaspa’s Whitepaper and BlockDAG architecture, drawing considerable attention from both seasoned crypto experts and newcomers. A high-quality video recording of this session is expected to be released soon, further amplifying its impact. During the workshop, we answered questions in a decentralized manner, embodying the very spirit of Kaspa and demonstrating this philosophy to a broad audience.

The event provided fertile ground for meaningful business discussions and strategic connections:

Blockchain Education: Engaging discussions with Alyra, a leading blockchain school, paved the way for a future presentation on Kaspa, expanding its reach in the educational sector.
Bitcoin Maximalists: Some of our most intense yet rewarding conversations were with BTC maximalists. We noted a shift in their perspective, with many acknowledging Kaspa’s merits and admitting to mining KAS themselves—without ever selling it. This revelation underscored the respect Kaspa is earning, even among the most hardened Bitcoin advocates.

Engagement & Emotional Impact
Crypto’XR was not just about visibility; it was about unity, energy, and validation. Our stand remained constantly occupied, reflecting a tangible curiosity and excitement around Kaspa. Many visitors already knew about Kaspa, while others left intrigued by its potential. The diversity of ambassador profiles allowed us to provide tailored and complementary answers to different audience segments, reinforcing our collective strength.

One of the most exhilarating aspects was the intellectual challenge presented by skeptics. Engaging in deep technical discussions, dismantling doubts, and sparking curiosity left us with a strong sense of accomplishment. These moments of rigorous debate and genuine interest reaffirmed that Kaspa is on the right trajectory.

Moreover, the camaraderie among the Kaspa France team was palpable. The experience of representing Kaspa together, exchanging knowledge, and witnessing the ecosystem’s expansion firsthand was incredibly fulfilling. It strengthened our conviction that we are not just promoting a blockchain but a movement built on transparency, efficiency, and decentralization.

Next Steps & ROI
The momentum gained at Crypto’XR must now be leveraged to drive Kaspa’s adoption further:

• Capitalizing on newly established contacts to accelerate ecosystem development.
• Structuring an ambassador recruitment program in France to maintain our growth trajectory.
• Strengthening our presence at major upcoming events, particularly PBW (Paris), ETHcc (Cannes), and Surfin’Bitcoin (Biarritz).

Conclusion
Crypto’XR 2025 validated our efforts, expanded our network, and strengthened Kaspa’s foothold in the French crypto landscape.

Thanks to the support of Kaspa Ecosystem Foundation (KEF), we were able to create a meaningful impact, engage with key stakeholders, and solidify our presence in the industry.

The journey is far from over, but Crypto’XR has set the stage for what’s to come: greater awareness, stronger collaborations, and the unstoppable rise of Kaspa.

On January 24, 2024, at the Avantgarde Urban Levent Hotel, in the heart of Istanbul, the Kaspa Istanbul Meetup brought together crypto enthusiasts, miners, and investors from across Türkiye. With attendees from cities like Çanakkale, Yalova, Denizli, Zonguldak, and Ankara, the event welcomed around 50 participants, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.

A Diverse Community, A Shared Passion
The meetup attracted a diverse group of professionals, including students, crypto professionals, businesspeople, graphic designers, government officials, engineers, and many more. Despite their varied backgrounds, everyone shared a common passion: Kaspa and the future of crypto.

Kaspa’s Presence and Networking Opportunities
The three-hour-long event was filled with insightful conversations and valuable networking opportunities. Additionally, three representatives from local exchanges attended, providing a unique chance to introduce them to Kaspa and its potential in the Turkish crypto landscape.
The discussions extended beyond the main gathering, as participants continued their conversations in smaller groups, forming meaningful connections.

Fortune Cookies & Kaspa Merchs
Upon arrival, attendees received Kaspa-branded t-shirts and merchandise from Rhubarb Media and funding from the CMF, fostering a sense of unity within the community.
One of the most exciting moments of the night was the Kaspa fortune cookie giveaway! Each cookie contained messages highlighting Kaspa’s unique features, while a few lucky participants won up to 500 $KAS rewards, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

Additionally, guests enjoyed a delightful selection of hot and cold snacks and delicious desserts, making the evening even more enjoyable.

Greetings, fellow Kaspians!

Since the beginning (May/June, 2022) when we created the brand, the website and socials for Kaspa, we’ve produced well over 2000 posts and/or designs for social media channels, created or produced 70+ videos for YouTube, and developed countless designs for events, community members, merchants and Ambassadors. Our services and support have successfully helped onboard more than 80 merchants worldwide and 32 regional Ambassadors. We established a new Global Ambassador team to help move that program forward and handed off the lead to Luke. Basic Kaspa Pitch Decks And Battle Cards were translated into 15+ languages for teaching at meetups and other educational events. We supplied custom pitch decks for the core team and ambassadors. We’ve designed and delivered an assortment of new merch and Merchant resources –  Ambassador and merchant resources.

All our work is public on the web from posts to highlight videos from events.

We have faithfully researched, sourced and written content for social posts and manage X, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram along with a handful of super mods and have seen the KAS Army grow exponentially, creating their own content on their channels.

With the support of our small but mighty Marketing and Business Development Team, we’ve helped promote numerous new apps, exchanges, pools and others that integrated Kaspa.

Since the beginning of the last CMF funding pool in May/June 2024, we’ve seen significant growth in all social channels.

• Provided design and resource support for Meetups in France, India, Nigeria, Israel, Ghana, Australia, Hong Kong, Poland, USA… 
• Designed and distributed 3rd Birthday resources for all Ambassadors and large events
• X = 240,800 followers – One of the highest engagement rates in Crypto history!

*We have seen Kaspa represented and supported through design and promo/merch in France (X3), Hong Kong (2x), Dubai 2X), Warsaw, Austin Texas, Miami, NYC, Vienna, Dubai, Dublin Singapore, and Sydney. 

Each of these events the Rhubarbarains spend countless hours helping to plan, design and create all materials needed for outreach.  Each location sees local ambassadors raised and equipped to represent the cause!

DYK? On X our impressions in DEC, 2024 alone were over 9M? And engagements (clicks, RT, etc) were almost .5M. Even with the Kaspa Way outreach the project is reaching millions.  And this isn’t just preaching to the choir, siloing.  We are averaging about 10k new followers on X each month!  Those are great stats. LinkedIn is steadily growing as well. About 6-8% a month. And all growth is purely organic. But this is an ecosystem effort as well. With each new ambassador, Xspace, video AMA, new article, event, and KEF/Kii/KasMedia mention, we grow.  It’s all organic, grassroots, decentralized just like BTC did and still does.  We equip, and create resources for all to educate, promote and onboard. 

The ASK:

The initial CMF was to be for 3 months. Due to the increasing value and our decision to alter the terms and take the equivalent of funding in USD, rather than the $KAS equivalent, we’ve been able to stretch the funds to 6-7 months!! This includes organising and supporting more key events with merch, creative design, and marketing tools.  Its carried us through this recent sideways price action.

Now, we hope to replenish the CMF to continue our “Kaspa Way” Marketing momentum into 2025 to increase marketing efforts, and onboard more ambassadors and merchants. 

Our focus for Q1-2 2025 is on more Outreach and equipping the community for meetups and large events around the globe with the support of KEF and others. We aim to provide Ambassadors with the necessary resources to form their own teams. Still, additional funds will be necessary for Ambassador launches and to support participation in major 2025 events as well as weekly design needs for print, social media, video production, etc.

As you have seen our global outreach has greatly expanded and thanks to KEF, the larger events have been covered.  But with 50+ Ambassadors onboard and probably 2X that coming in the first half of 2025, and the daily addition of Kaspa Merchants, the demand for Reginal/local launch kits and meetups is coming!  Many of the Ambassadors have their own Kaspa clothing and a pull-up banner as well as pitch decks for presentations, but for each new Ambassador, we want to help them kick off their activity with a fulsome Media Kit and merch for their first few meetups.  These “kits” would include a few shirts for them and other helping Kaspians, a pullup banner (XL Battle Card) A stack of Battle Cards, Sticker sheets, some Kaspa pins, and keychains)  These kits range per region but could easily cost $550 USD per Ambassasor.  Ongoing, for each meetup it would be base costs for refreshments or maybe facility rentals, although we encourage all to find donated space.

A revised effort will be to support more educational resources for video, web and print. The cycle of brand building never ends! 

Coming in 2025

• A social media series on Kaspa Features/Benefits (ongoing)

• A revised Battle Card translated into 17 languages, including an interactive web version

• A New Interview Podcast Series (name TBD) Hosted by Chad

Interviewing merchants, ambassadors, enterprise markets, and others who are adopting Kaspa.  Meeting real people hearing their stories and tips and tricks around adopting Kaspa into their enterprise. I’ll also be doing regular check-ins with Kii and KEF to bring to light highlights of their work.

Budget Breakdown

• Funds Requested: We’re asking for 33,267 KAS/month (KAS price now is .1503) (equivalent to $5000 USD/month) for at least an initial commitment of 3 months. After this period, we’ll revisit for a new budget review. Should the value of Kaspa increase, we pledge only to spend the USD equivalent (For Rhubarb’s ask), thus extending the funds over more months. As mentioned, the last budget lasted 6+ months.
• Budget Allocation: 50% of the funds will be dedicated to our content creation,(print, video, web)  communications, Ambassador/Merchant support, project management and resource creation. The remaining 50% will cover Ambassador Kits, merchant support, merch for events as requested and other associated hard costs, as needed. None of these funds will be used for paid advertising. The budget will be directed toward the daily efforts of Kaspa’s organic growth. If no requests are made from Ambassadors or outreach needs, we will allow those funds to extend the work of the Rhubarbarians past 3 months, which we’ve seen these past couple of years, while supporting resources and merch requests from around the globe.

Total Budget: We’re looking at a total of 99801 KAS. If the Kaspa value goes up, we will spread the budget out over more months as we’ve done successfully over the past 2.5 years!

It was incredible to see new faces and even some OGs from the community come together—some were curious to learn about Kaspa, and others were reconnecting with like-minded members they’d known for a while.

We spent much of the night sharing stories about how we all discovered Kaspa and recent experiences, such as at Token2049. We also talked about the overwhelming support from @Kaspa_KEF and what it was like engaging with fans at all their recent events. Additionally, we discussed the exciting new initiatives mentioned at the Dublin
@KaspaKii event. The discussions were passionate and enthusiastic, emphasising Kaspa’s potential and organic growth. This sets it apart from the usual hype-driven cycles that dominate the crypto space.

Simply put, think about what is considered ‘normal’ marketing in Cryptoland and do the opposite. You have Kaspa!

Although our group consisted of around 11 people, building communities in this natural, grassroots way is the most meaningful approach to fostering real engagement. Yes, we could have put on a flashy event—and I’ll likely do so in the future—but there’s something uniquely powerful about sitting down with a few new friends over a drink and sharing ideas.

My biggest takeaway is that if you’re unsure about attending one of our Kaspa meetups or even a crypto event in general, I encourage you to give it a go. As people immersed in the digital world, it’s easy to forget that most of our connections happen online. Stepping offline, even for a few hours, can be incredibly rewarding and add depth to those connections we often only experience through a screen.

Background

In early 2022, when Kaspa was first branded and all public communications channels were established, Rhubarbarian and the team started to seed the idea of a Kaspa Ambassador Program (KAP.) Its main goal was to find passionate leaders from within the community and educate, equip and support them as a major arm of the marketing efforts in their local regions; to reach their people groups with resources like graphics, promo materials, and presentational templates created in their native languages.

Many other projects source major budgets and spend money on KOLS, paid ads and paid influencers to shill their project. The idea of KAP was to invest in people, and the community and set them up as our KOLs and Influencers!

At the beginning of March 2023 in conjunction with the Community Marketing Fund (CMF) the KAP was launched. (Check CMC charts at that time)

A new web page was added and through an application form, multiple interviews, and reference checks, we started to onboard Ambassadors. Right off the bat, meetups began, and events were attended, most funded by the CMF with mentorship, design and resource support from the Rhubarbarians. Within 6 months the team had grown to 15 Ambassadors strong and 6 months from there, we reached over 30!

The countries included Nigeria, Australia, Germany, Canada, USA, Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Poland, Austria, France, Indonesia, India, Kazakhstan, Israel, Philippines, Netherlands, Romania, UK, Spain, etc.

Passing the Torch

It was just after we hit 30 Ambassadors, that Rhubarbarian reached out to Luke (one of our first Ambassadors), Chris (Rock the Kaspa and UK Ambassador) and Julien (French Ambassador) to form an advisory team (Global Ambassadors) to help with the process and start looking at new ways to scale. Luke took it upon himself to spearhead this initiative and with their council and support, a new proposal was presented to take the KAP to the next level. It did mean pausing the applications to get organized and giving Luke time to flesh out the details. In the meantime, the Ambassadors continued to shine as they launched the Kaspa World Tour with support from the Kaspa Ecosystem Foundation (KEF) and the CMF.

It’s with great excitement that we restart the KAP with not only a new intake process, new documents and newly compiled resources, but with a new leader!

We’re excited about the exponential growth we see for Kaspa, driven by the remarkable developments the core team delivers, such as the upcoming Crescendo hard-fork and how the “ground team,” our amazing Ambassadors, will spread the news and educate and demonstrate this pioneering work to the masses.

The following 12 months are shaping up to be huge. As more people discover Kaspa, we will likely see the Ambassador Program double or even triple in size.

For new applicants, this growth means an even more cohesive and streamlined application process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience into the program. For our original Ambassadors, you can expect the same excitement and engagement that has defined the program from day one, but now with even more opportunities for growth and impact.

What’s New in KAP 2.0?

As we relaunch the Kaspa Ambassador Program, we’re excited to introduce several new updates to enhance the program and provide more support to our Ambassadors. Some of the fundamental changes include:

• Revamped Application Process: A new streamlined process including an application form, knowledge quiz, and interview to ensure we onboard the most dedicated Ambassadors. We’ve also tightened joining requirements, especially around employment conflicts.
• Enhanced Ambassador Structure: We’ve refined the program’s structure to provide clearer pathways for growth and new leadership opportunities.
• Ambassador Growth Plan: A defined plan to support Ambassadors in advancing through the program and contributing more to the community.
• Clear Responsibilities and Core Values: Updated guidelines to maintain professionalism and integrity across the program.
• Ambassador Handbook: A comprehensive, evolving resource to guide Ambassadors in their roles and responsibilities.

Looking Forward

These updates mark a new chapter for the Kaspa Ambassador Program. We will focus on fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and engaged community as we implement these changes.
Looking ahead, we have several exciting initiatives in the pipeline that will further enhance the Ambassador experience:

• Ambassador Swag: We know how much our Ambassadors love to share Kaspa with the world, so we will introduce more Ambassador Swag, enabling all of our ambassadors to show their passion for the project no matter where they go.
• Educational Resources: We’re developing additional educational resources to help Ambassadors expand their knowledge of Kaspa and effectively communicate the project’s vision. One of these resources, for example, will be the FUDBuster initiative, which will equip Ambassadors with information to address typical FUD they might encounter.
• New Budgeting Process: Funding support for meetups and events is being re-strategized to include revisions to the use of CMF funds, access to KEF funding for large events and help launching Regional CMF (local crowdfunding) opportunities.

After filling out the application, complete the quiz included at the end of the form.

Application Review:
Global Ambassadors from the Ambassador Advisory Council will review your application. If you progress to the next round, they will reach out to notify you.

Video Interview:
Participate in a video interview

Final Decision:
If successful, you will receive confirmation of your acceptance as a Kaspa Ambassador.
